ABOUT US
The Village is Us is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education, support and empowerment of the parent community.
Founded by Jasmina and Marteece Waters, the organization serves Northeast Ohio.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the organization is to bridge the gap for families by providing resources, education, and support that focuses on nurturing a growth mindset, physical and mental health, parenting and family care and financial literacy. Dedicated to surmounting community-centric barriers, The Village is Us seeks to provide opportunities within the community that will enrich and enhance the quality of life for generations.

WHAT WE OFFER
EDUCATE
We have a mission to uplift and strengthen families. One way we achieve this is through our enrichment programs and workshops that cover a variety of topics such as parent engagement techniques, mental health and holistic well-being.
SUPPORT
We provide support groups to parents to help strengthen the bond between family members and create spaces for parents to learn, heal and grow. Our support groups also serve as a network for parents to embrace as their own personal "village".
EMPOWER
We know parenting isn’t easy—and no one should have to do it alone; it is all about supporting parents right where they are. Whether it’s through honest conversations, group meetups, or connecting folks to helpful resources, we’re here to remind parents they’re seen, supported, and never alone. When parents are well, families grow stronger—and that makes our whole village better.
